“A once in a lifetime experience. Such talented musicians in a stunning venue. It's a shame that cameras and mobile phones aren't banned from this event as, sadly, looking at others phones is distracting and spoils the unique experience. Tip:arrive well before the suggested 15 minutes before the start of the concert to grab the best seat for your price bracket.”

“Amazing little place! The atmosphere was great and the band were fantastic, even if you don’t like jazz it’s such a fun uplifting experience. You need to pay for the cloak room as a must, which it doesn’t mention but isn’t expensive. Highly recommend!”

“Great concert whilst you are making a visit to the castle complex. We watched the changing of the guards and then wandered over. Although it was hot outside, the room had fans and therefore was cool enough. We aren’t music experts so I can’t say how technically good the musicians are but it was beautiful to listen to. It’s a great venue to get lost in the music and we found the hour to be enough!”

“Beautiful venue. Fantastic performances from the singers and the musicians. Even my sports loving husband enjoyed himself:) Only critique would be that there is only one menu, and while tasty, it's a bit heavy. A choice for a entree other than beef would appeal to many, I think.”

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 88 reviews · 1 hour (approx.) · from $29

Baroque organ concert in Prague's St Francis Church, featuring a 1702 pipe organ. 1 hour at 7 pm, English program, mobile ticket.

“The trumpeter and soprano soloists were great! The organist never once played the full organ with full bass; it felt like she was always holding the instrument back. The layout of the sanctuary is such that you cannot see the performers well at all, even though we were supposedly given the "best seats." The next day we attended a concert at the St. Salvator Church, which was tremendous (full organ, chamber musicians, superb soprano soloists, beautiful program)!”

“Lovely concert in a historic recital room. Great museum depicting a family central to European history with well curated displays. CAUTION - getting to the palace is tricky. The GPS was not accurate for the final walk to the castle and we got lost getting there with only a minute to spare. Allow an extra 30 min on top of what you think to get there!”

Classical Concert in St. Nicholas Church - What the concert is actually like in a 1-hour format
Concerts, Prague Tours, Tour Reviews

Classical Concert in St. Nicholas Church

15.Classical Concert in St. Nicholas Church

★★★★★★★★★★3.0 · 39 reviews · 1 hour (approx.) · from $30

Prague classical concert in St. Nicholas Church. One hour of baroque music, mobile tickets, and an English program included.

“The organ music was excellent. The church had amazing architecture and acoustics. But from the photo advertising this concert, we were expecting at least a string quartet, and a choral group. So this was something of a disappointment. The three musicians (one vocalist) were excellent, but did most of their performance from behind the audience from the balcony. At the end they did move to the front of the church where we could see them, and sang a few recognizable songs in English. the most memorable being "think of Me" from "Phantom of the Opera." Again, the musicians were accomplished, but this was not what we were expecting.”
